“Give it back” or “Take it back” – Phrasal Verb

Choose the correct answer:

You take an item you just bought back to the store to get a refund (get the money back). To take something back means to return something, usually to the store/shop.

To give something back usually refers to:

• to return something borrowed: “I will give this money back to you next week.”
